1. Data controller

2. What we collect
Through the website: The contact form sends nothing to a server of ours — it opens your own email programme with the message pre-filled. Anything you send this way reaches us as an ordinary email. If you contact us via WhatsApp, those messages are handled by WhatsApp under its own terms.
When a contract is signed: Full name, identity document details, driving licence details, address, telephone and email. We keep a copy of these documents together with the signed Rental Agreement.
Automatically: The site stores one cookie — ca_lang — which remembers your chosen language. It is strictly necessary for the site to work and is not used for tracking or advertising.
3. Purposes and legal basis
Performance of a contract: Verifying identity and eligibility, concluding and performing the rental agreement. Basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Legal obligation: Accounting and tax records, and providing information to the authorities on a lawful request. Basis: Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.
Legitimate interests: Handling damage, insurance claims and legal disputes. Basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
4. Who receives your data
- Our own staff, where they need it to do their job.
- Our accountants, for statutory reporting.
- Insurers, where there is an incident or a claim.
- Public authorities, only on a lawful basis or an official request.
We do not sell personal data and do not pass it to third parties for marketing.
5. Service providers
Vehicle information is stored in Google Firebase, in a server region inside the European Union (europe-west1, Belgium). Vehicle photographs are hosted by Cloudinary. These services process data about the vehicles, not your personal data. Where a transfer outside the EU is necessary, it takes place under the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. Retention
- Rental agreements and the document copies attached to them — 10 years, under the Bulgarian Accountancy Act.
- Correspondence about enquiries that did not lead to a contract — up to 1 year.
- The language cookie — up to 1 year, or until you delete it.
7. Your rights
- Access to your personal data and a copy of it.
- Rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure, where no legal ground for keeping it remains.
- Restriction of processing, and objection to it.
- Portability of the data you provided.
